ORES GERMANY focuses on the acquisition and management of commercial real estate assets in Germany, sponsored and managed by Bankinter and Sonae Sierra.
THE COMPANY
The main business of Olimpo Retail Germany, S.A. (ORES Alemania) is the acquisition and management of commercial real estate assets in Germany.
ORES Germany was founded in November 2023 with an investment strategy based on investing in an identified portfolio of 8 large food, DIY and household retail stores in Germany. This portfolio has been selected “asset by asset” by the local Sonae Sierra team based on several criteria: attractive entry prices, established locations and long-term leases with strong tenants in the most relevant retail sub-sectors in Germany. This should offer investors stable and predictable cash flows as well as a potential for investment appreciation on exit.
Sonae Sierra, a multinational company that operates in a integrated manner in the real estete sector, will be the real estate administrator of the company, with over 35 years’ experience in the field. With projects carried out in more than 35 countries, the company currently manages more than 8,000 million euros in assets.
The main objective of ORES Alemania is to generate value for its clients through the long-term management of commercial real estate assets, using the knowledge and experience of its administrators Bankinter and Sonae Sierra.

Fernando Moreno Marcos
Board of Directors
Fernando Moreno Marcos is the Director of Commercial Banking at Bankinter and a member of its Executive Committee. The areas under his authority include Private Banking, Personal Banking, Retail Banking, Online Banking, etc.
Fernando Moreno has spent practically all of his professional career at Bankinter, where he has held various posts and responsibilities in business areas.
He has a degree in Law and Business Studies (E-3 double-degree programme) from Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE Business School), and successfully completed the MDP (Management Development Programme) at Harvard Business School (Boston, USA).
In 2004 he also passed the Senior Executive Programme at ESADE Business School.
Ignacio Lozano Egea
Board of Directors
Ignacio Lozano Egea is the Managing Director of Commercial Banking and a member of the Executive Committee at Bankinter, where he leads the bank’s commercial activities and oversees the management of its client network in Spain.
Over more than three decades with the institution, he has held a variety of senior leadership roles, including Head of Bankinter Life Insurance, Corporate Development, and several positions within the commercial and regional network, these roles have provided him with deep expertise in retail banking and a thorough understanding of the bank’s internal structure.
He has contributed to the design and execution of commercial, organizational, and distribution strategies that have positioned Bankinter as one of the most innovative and solid banks in the Spanish market.
He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid and has completed executive education at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University (USA).
Marco Möller Merinero
Board of Directors
Marco Möller is Director of Investment Management at Sonae Sierra, based in Madrid. He develops and implements pan-European real estate investment strategies, managing vehicles and leading the origination and execution of transactions across asset classes.
Before joining Sonae Sierra in 2021, he was Investment Director at IBA Capital Partners, managing acquisitions and joint ventures exceeding €1 billion. He previously held positions at CBRE Loan Services and Eurohypo in commercial real estate finance.
Marco holds degrees in Business Administration and Actuarial Science from the University of Extremadura and an MSc in Stock Exchanges and Financial Markets from IEB.
David Campos e Cunha
Board of Directors
David Campos e Cunha is currently Head of Credit Ventures at Sonae Sierra. Previously he was Director of Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance Real Estate in KMPG, where he played a pivotal role in creating and developing the debt advisory practice within the Spanish client base, liaising with banks, funds, and capital markets.
Before moving to Spain, David spent 14 years in London, initially at Barclays Investment Bank and later at Deutsche Bank for 10 years, having assumed the position of Director – Financing & Solutions. He also worked as Director, Capital Markets, at Starz Real Estate, a commercial real estate debt fund focused on middle-market loans in Europe and the UK.
In 2007 he was awarded the “Young Economist of the Year” from the Portuguese Association of Economists. He holds a Master’s degree in conomics from NOVA SBE.
Pedro María Sagüés Gónzalez-Estrada
Board of Directors
Pedro Sagués González-Estrada has been General Manager of Investment Banking at Bankinter, S.A. since 2011. Previously, he served as General Manager of Corporate Finance, first at Haitong Bank, S.A. from 2005 to 2008, and subsequently at Socios Financieros, S.A. from 2008 to 2011.
Pedro holds a degree in Business Administration and Management from the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid, as well as an MBA from IE Business School, completed in 2004.
Since 2012, he has also been a Professor of Economics and Banking Management at Colegio Universitario de Estudios Financieros (CUNEF) in Madrid.
Alfonso Cárcamo Gil
Council secretary
Alfonso has more than 17 years of experience both in the public sector as Attorney of the Kingdom (Abogado del Estado) and in the private sector.
During his extensive professional career, Alfonso has been Director-General of Legal Services and Secretary of the Board of the Spanish National Securities Market Commission (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores), Secretary of the Governing Committee and Head of the Legal Department of the FROB (Fund For Orderly Bank Restructuring), General Secretary of BMN and Corporate Director of the Legal Department of Affiliates and Associated Businesses of Bankia. He has been a director and secretary at different insurance companies – Caser, among others –, and consumer finance firms.
Before joining Ramón y Cajal Abogados he worked for the investment fund Cerberus Capital Management.
